I was an on-again, off-again vegetarian for years. Now, I've decided to go vegan. It's a learning and growing process. I finally figured out how to make cheese (from Cashew nuts but there are other ways too). Cheese was the one thing that kept me from going all out vegan. So, now that the cheese problem is solved, I can move forward ;) I also miss hot wings but found my favorite wing sauce (Frank's Red Hot sauce) and put it on things like lentil/brown rice&pico burritos or some grilled tempeh and that takes care of that craving!
I'm working on my bachelor's in accounting/finance. I'm a little late in the game, yes. I started college late because I didn't have a clue as to what I wanted to major in and also wanted a break from school to travel, work and play. Then I had another little break when I had my daughter.
I am truly concerned about animals, the environment and what I put in my body.
I have a passion for living consciously and respectfully, organic gardening, cooking, eating, wine, outdoor adventures, travel, culture, music and sunshine.
I'm looking to connect with other vegetarians/vegans in my area (Atlanta, Asheville, Chattanooga). As far as dating goes, it's been over a year since I've dated anyone because I don't have much time for anything other than my full-time school schedule and being a full-time mother. I am not opposed to getting to know someone though for that purpose. But I wouldn't be able to pursue a relationship until my college career is complete.
