A vegetarian for 18 years for ethical reasons, mainly a vegan. A stricter vegan as of Jan. 2005. Involved with local animal rights group. Love being in nature, bicycling, hiking, canoeing, walks along the beach, collecting seashells and unique pebbles or stones, and country-drives. Enjoy board games such as Scrabble. Like exploring quaint little towns, that are artsy and unique. Can be adventurous. Both a planner and spontaneous. Like to travel and learn about different cultures and see different landscapes. Enjoy going to art galleries and museums, theatre, and movies. Play some piano, guitar and mandolin, and enjoy the conga drums as well. Intrigued by "intentional communities" and would like to visit some.

IF you are a MAN, and you are in search of your SOUL-MATE, my belief is that men and women should start off as friends first, so I welcome men who value women as friends. While I reluctantly will stay open to an overseas or long-distance romance/potential long-term committed relationship possibly leading to marriage, my preference is to find someone a bit closer to home, at most within 2 hours of my Wilmington location.
